In this video, I'll show how to fix low FPS in Minecraft (bad FPS), and boost FPS, effectivelly fixing the lag of the game. This is also known as the lagging Minecraft problem.
This video will fix lag, boost FPS, and fix Minecraft lagging and with low FPS even if you have a good computer.
Press the WINDOWS key or click on the WINDOWS icon
Write "Control Panel"
Click on Control Panel
In the top-right search bar, write "Java"
Click on Java
Among the tabs, click on the "Java" tab
Click on View
In "Runtime Parameters", double click to be able to change the value
Write "-Xincgc -Xmx2G"
This value must be personalized according to the amount of RAM you have available. I recommend to use half of the RAM of the computer, but not more. If you have 8 GB RAM in the computer, you can use 4 GB RAM (thus it would be -Xincgc -Xmx4G). If you have 16 GB RAM, you can use 8 GB (thus it would be -Xincgc -Xmx8G), and so on.
Click on OK
Click on Apply
Click on OK
You can do this for both the Java Edition and the Bedrock Edition. I'll explain how to do it.
Open the Minecraft Launcher
Click on the version you play (Java or Bedrock)
Click on Installations
In "Latest Release", click on the "..." to the right
Click on Edit
Click on More Options
Scroll down
In "JVM Arguments", pay attention to what is written:
-Xms2G -Xmx4G -XX:+UseCompactObjectHeaders -XX:+AlwaysPreTouch -XX:+UseStringDeduplication -XX:+UseZGC
The "Xmx4G" is the amount of RAM the game is using. The same principle applies here. If you have 8 GB RAM in the computer, you can use 4 GB (Xmx4G). If you have 16 GB of RAM you can use 8 GB (Xmx8G), and so on.
After you are done editting the amount of RAM, click on "Save"
